Arrival & Welcome
Upon landing at Cancun International Airport, a private driver will greet you and take you directly to your hotel.
Your concierge care team will ask for updates in your group chat upon airport and hotel arrival to track your safe check-in. Settle into your hotel room and get comfortable.
Pre-Op Testing & Consultation
The day prior to your procedure, you’ll undergo essential pre-op testing (blood work, chest X-rays, EKG, cardiology consult) to ensure you’re medically cleared for surgery.
Later, you’ll have a dedicated appointment with Dr. Valdez to discuss your procedure, ask final questions, and for him to take “before” photos. Your concierge nurse team may provide specific medications to take that night.
Surgery Day & Hospital Care
Your concierge nurses will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the hospital. There, you may meet the anesthesiologist and have an IV started. You’ll speak with Dr. Valdez one last time before entering the operating room.
After surgery, you’ll be monitored in post-op until stable, then moved to a private hospital room for overnight care by both hospital nurses and a dedicated concierge nurse. Dr. Valdez may visit to check on you and provide initial post-op instructions.
Discharge From Hospital
The next morning, Dr. Valdez may visit again. After breakfast and medical clearance, you’ll be discharged from the hospital.
A concierge nurse will pick you up and drive you back to your hotel, providing detailed instructions and support for your crucial first night after surgery and your continued recovery.
Daily Hotel Visits & Clinical Care
Your concierge nurses will visit you daily in your hotel room. During these visits, they will:
- Monitor and Clean Incisions: Carefully check and clean your incision sites as needed.
- Dressing Changes: Replace dressings to ensure proper healing and hygiene.
- Medication Guidance: Provide instructions regarding your post-operative medications.
Schedule & Appointments
Your concierge nurse will outline your personalized recovery itinerary, keeping you fully informed about all upcoming appointments with Dr. Valdez. These crucial visits monitor your progress and may include:
- Healing Assessments: Dr. Valdez will evaluate your healing.
- Drain & Suture Removal: If applicable, drains and necessary sutures will be removed.
Ongoing Support & Transport
Our concierge nursing team provides continuous support, keeping your recovery smooth and worry-free.
- Dedicated Transportation: Enjoy private, round-trip transportation to and from every Dr. Valdez appointment.
- Group Chat Support: They’ll check on you via chat. Ask any healing questions for quick responses, with photo requests for concerned areas if needed.
